SANEHI Education and Welfare Trust is proudly dedicated to the legacy of Mr. Ram Sanehi, fondly remembered as Munshi Ji. He was a school teacher, social reformer, and writer, widely respected for his secular outlook, integrity, and lifelong commitment to social upliftment.
The Trust stands as a tribute to his values and vision. It works towards the welfare of the weaker sections of society—especially women and marginalized communities—by promoting affordable, inclusive, and quality education, along with scientific and skill-based professional training. Our goal is to empower individuals with knowledge, dignity, and opportunities for a better future.
As part of this mission, the Trust has established the National Institute of Human Development and Leadership (NIHDL)—a dedicated unit focused on strengthening democratic processes through various courses and training programmes. NIHDL engages in rigorous, data-driven, and socially grounded research and training on human development, social welfare, elections, voter behaviour, and public policy.
Guided by the vision of “making politics a noble responsibility", NIHDL aims to inspire and prepare a new generation of ethical, informed, and committed citizens and leaders. By encouraging greater participation in public life, it seeks to contribute to a stronger, more inclusive, and vibrant Indian democracy.

OBJECTIVES
- To establish and support educational institutions, training centers, and skill-development programs.
- To conduct workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns on education, social justice, and community development.
- To provide scholarships, mentorship, and career guidance to deserving students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
- To undertake research on elections, voter behaviour, and public policy through NIHDL
- To promote gender equality, social inclusion, and community participation in all initiatives.
- To collaborate with government bodies, academic institutions, and civil society organizations for broader impact.
